• RESOLUTION EXTENDING SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />GRANTED TO THE COVENANT SCHOOL ON MAY 20, 1985 <br />TO ALLOW FOR EXPANSION OF THE PRIVATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. <br />WHEREAS, The Covenant School has requested permission <br />to extend the special use permit granted on May 20, 1985 in <br />order to allow for continued and expanded use of the front <br />two floors of the McIntire School Building on the 250 Bypass <br />for a private elementary school; and <br />WHEREAS, McIntire Village Associates as owner of the <br />McIntire School facility has approved the expansion of the <br />Covenant School; and <br />WHEREAS, following a joint public hearing before this <br />Council and the Planning Commission, duly advertised and <br />held on October 14, 1986, this Council finds that such use <br />will conform to the standards set forth in Section 31-14(e) <br />of the City Code and to the criteria applicable to special <br />permits generally under Chapter 31 of the City Code; now, <br />therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottes- <br />ville, Virginia that the special use permit which was <br />• granted on May 20, 1985 and expired July 1, 1986 to operate <br />a private elementary school in the Old McIntire School <br />Building on 250 Bypass is extended two years. This property <br />is further identified on City Real Property Tax Map *45 as <br />Parcel #7, having approximately 430 feet of frontage on the <br />250 Bypass, 570 feet of frontage on Birdwood Road, 590 feet <br />of frontage on Edge Hill Road, 600 feet of frontage on <br />Hillcrest Road and containing approximately 315,500 square <br />feet of land, or 7.24 acres. Such special permit shall be <br />subject to the conditions imposed by the city zoning <br />ordinance upon special permits generally, and shall further <br />be subject to the following special conditions: <br />(a) Such expanded use shall be limited to the areas shown in <br />the site plan and that any expansion of the use requires an <br />amendment to the special permit. <br />(b) That the Phase II plan for the McIntire Village Planned <br />Unit Development be implemented within six months in order <br />to comply with parking requirements. <br />Approved by Council <br />November 3, 1986 <br />• 1 rk of Council <br />:. . <br />
