• shall deem to be in the best interest of Region Ten. In <br />addition, the Executive Director of Region.Ten is hereby <br />authorized to execute on behalf of Region Ten any contract of <br />purchase or accept on behalf of Region Ten any deed necessary for <br />the purchase of property upon such terms and conditions as the <br />Board of Directors of Region Ten shall deem to be in the best <br />interest of Region Ten. <br />3. The Executive Director of Region Ten is also <br />hereby authorized on behalf of Region Ten to execute any <br />documents necessary to effect and consummate the purchase of the <br />Properties and to deliver to the respective Sellers of the <br />Properties on behalf of Region Ten the funds for the purchase <br />price for the Properties. <br />4. Region Ten is also hereby authorized to effect (1) <br />a loan from the Department of Housing and Community Development <br />in the principal amount not to exceed $103,000.00, upon such <br />terms and conditions as the Board of Directors agree to be in the <br />best interest of Region Ten, and (2) the assumption of the <br />indebtedness secured by (a) a deed of trust, dated February 9, <br />1983, to Lloyd T. Smith, Jr. and M. E. Gibson, Jr., Trustees to <br />secure the original principal amount of $25,000.00 owing to <br />Guaranty Savings & Loan Association of record in the Clerk's <br />Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Charlottesville (the <br />• Clerk's Office) in Deed Book 435, page 578 (the Guaranty Deed of <br />Trust), and (b) a deed of trust, dated February 9, 1983, to <br />Ronald R. Tweel and John V. Little, Trustees to secure the <br />original principal amount of $20,000.00 owing to the <br />Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority of record in <br />the Clerk's Office in Deed Book 435, page 583 (the CRHA Deed of <br />Trust).Guaranty Deed of Trust and the CHRA Deed of Trust. The <br />Executive Director of Region Ten is hereby authorized to execute <br />on behalf of Region Ten any such loan documents, including, <br />without limitation, a note and deed of trust creating a lien <br />against the Properties to secure the note to the Department of <br />Housing and Community Development, in order to consummate the <br />procuring of the loan from the Department of Housing and <br />Community Development and the assumption of the indebtedness <br />secured by the Guaranty Deed of Trust and the CHRA Deed of Trust. <br />• <br />5. Each officer, official and employee of the City of <br />Charlottesville and Region Ten is authorized to execute and <br />deliver on behalf of the City and Region Ten such instruments, <br />documents or certificates, and to do and perform such things and <br />acts, as they shall deem necessary, appropriate to carry out the <br />transactions authorized by the resolution or such instruments, <br />documents or certificates; and all of the foregoing previously <br />being done or performed by such officers, officials and employees <br />of the Citr and Region Ten are in all respects approved, ratified <br />and confirmed. <br />M <br />
