W <br />•AGREEMENT <br />This Agreement is made this 1st day of July, 1994, by and between the CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, <br />hereinafter "City," and CRESTAR BANK, hereinafter "Bank." <br />WITNESSETH: <br />For and in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, the City and the Bank agree as <br />follows: <br />1. The Bank agrees to provide the City with all banking services listed on page 41 of its April 15, <br />1994, proposal, a copy of which is attached to this Agreement as Attachment A, and whose contents are <br />incorporated herein as part of this Agreement. <br />2. For all banking services required and utilized by the City, the City agrees to pay the Bank on a <br />monthly basis in accordance with the unit cost pricing schedule contained on page 41 of the Bank's <br />proposal. <br />• 3. The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 1994, through June 30, 1997. In the Request <br />for Proposal the City reserved the right to renew its contract for two additional one-year periods without <br />re -bidding. All other terms and conditions of the City's Request for Proposal which led to this contract are <br />incorporated herein and expressly made a part hereof, and the Bank hereby agrees to such provisions. <br />4. During the term of this Agreement, the Bank agrees as follows: <br />(a) The Bank will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment <br />because of race, religion, color, sex, or national origin, except where religion, sex, or <br />national origin is a bonafide occupational qualification reasonably necessary to the normal <br />operation of the Bank. The Bank agrees to post in conspicuous places, available to <br />employees and applicants for employment, notices setting forth its policy as an equal <br />opportunity employer. <br />(b) The Bank, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf <br />of the Bank, will state that the Bank is an equal opportunity employer. <br />(c) Notices, advertisements, and solicitations placed in accordance with federal law, rule, <br />• or regulation shall be deemed sufficient for the purpose of meeting the requirements of <br />this section. <br />
