W •AGREEMENT This Agreement is made this 1st day of July, 1994, by and between the CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, hereinafter "City," and CRESTAR BANK, hereinafter "Bank." WITNESSETH: For and in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, the City and the Bank agree as follows: 1. The Bank agrees to provide the City with all banking services listed on page 41 of its April 15, 1994, proposal, a copy of which is attached to this Agreement as Attachment A, and whose contents are incorporated herein as part of this Agreement. 2. For all banking services required and utilized by the City, the City agrees to pay the Bank on a monthly basis in accordance with the unit cost pricing schedule contained on page 41 of the Bank's proposal. • 3. The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 1994, through June 30, 1997. In the Request for Proposal the City reserved the right to renew its contract for two additional one-year periods without re -bidding. All other terms and conditions of the City's Request for Proposal which led to this contract are incorporated herein and expressly made a part hereof, and the Bank hereby agrees to such provisions. 4. During the term of this Agreement, the Bank agrees as follows: (a) The Bank will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, sex, or national origin, except where religion, sex, or national origin is a bonafide occupational qualification reasonably necessary to the normal operation of the Bank. The Bank agrees to post in conspicuous places, available to employees and applicants for employment, notices setting forth its policy as an equal opportunity employer. (b) The Bank, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of the Bank, will state that the Bank is an equal opportunity employer. (c) Notices, advertisements, and solicitations placed in accordance with federal law, rule, • or regulation shall be deemed sufficient for the purpose of meeting the requirements of this section.
