• B. City Council also agrees to appropriate funds for the <br />travel and subsistence expenses of the Manager for a reasonable <br />number of short courses, institutes or seminars for his <br />professional development and for the good of the City. <br />SECTION 16. <br />The City will defend, save harmless and indemnify the Manager <br />against any tort or professional liability claim or demand or other <br />legal action, whether groundless or otherwise, arising out of an <br />alleged act or omission occurring in the performance of the <br />Manager's duties, to the maximum extent allowed by law. <br />SECTION 17. BONDING <br />The City will bear the full cost of any fidelity or other <br />bonds required of the Manager under any law or ordinance. <br />SECTION 18. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT <br />The City Council, after consultation with the Manager, may fix <br />any other terms and conditions of employment as it may determine <br />from time to time, relating to the performance of the Manager, <br />• provided such terms and conditions are not inconsistent with the <br />provisions of this agreement, the City Charter or any other state <br />law. <br />SECTION 19. NO REDUCTION OF BENEFITS <br />The City Council shall not at any time during the term of this <br />agreement reduce the salary, compensation or other financial <br />benefits of the Manager, except to the degree it imposes such a <br />reduction across-the-board for all employees of the City. <br />SECTION 20. NOTICES <br />Notices pursuant to this agreement shall be given by first <br />class mail, postage prepaid, addressed as follows: <br />(1) City Council: <br />(2) Manager: <br />Mayor <br />P. 0.
