• <br />• <br />APPROPRIATION <br />FOCUS Loan Extension <br />$17,000 <br />WHEREAS, in September 1994, the City advanced funds of $22,000 to FOCUS of <br />Charlottesville and Albemarle to use as start-up funds for its TeenSight program, and FOCUS <br />executed a Note in this amount; and <br />WHEREAS, FOCUS is able to pay $5,000.00 on the loan, and asked the City to extend <br />the due date on the remainder of the balance due to August 15, 1997; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the due <br />date of the above -referenced loan is hereby extended to August 15, 1997. This extension is <br />conditioned upon receipt of $5,000.00 from FOCUS, and FOCUS's promise to repay the <br />remaining $17,000.00 on or before August 15, 1997. FOCUS shall properly execute an <br />Amended Note evidencing the new terms of its indebtedness to the City in a form approved by <br />the City Attorney and substantially like the attached sample. <br />Approved by Council <br />August 5, 1996 <br />C k of City C uncil <br />
