RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />• FOR PROPERTY AT 830 MONTICELLO ROAD <br />(BELMONT BAPTIST CHURCH) <br />WHEREAS, the Belmont Baptist Church, on behalf of First United Methodist Church <br />Preschool, has requested a special use permit to allow operation of a private preschool at 830 <br />Monticello Road for up to thirty (30) children. This property is further identified as Parcels 217, <br />218 and 219 on City Real Property Tax Map 58, having approximately 144 feet of frontage on <br />Monticello Avenue, 264 feet of frontage on Meridian Street, 96 feet of frontage on Bolling <br />Avenue, and containing approximately 31,680 square feet of land or .73 acres; <br />WHEREAS, following a joint public hearing before this Council and the Planning <br />Commission, duly advertised and held on August 14, 2001, this Council finds that such use will <br />conform to the criteria applicable to special permits generally under Chapter 34 of the City Code; <br />now. therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that a special <br />use permit is hereby approved and granted to Belmont Baptist Church, owner of the property at <br />830 Monticello Road to allow operation of a private preschool for up to thirty (30) children. This <br />special use permit is conditioned upon the following: <br />• 1. Administrative approval of the final site plan. <br />2. Maximum enrollment of thirty (30) children per day, without amendment of the special <br />use permit. <br />3.
