• The City will bear the full cost of any fidelity or other bonds required of the <br />Manager under any law or ordinance. <br />SECTION 18. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT <br />The City Council, after consultation with the Manager and agreement by the <br />Manager, may fix any other terms and conditions of employment as it may determine <br />from time to time, relating to the performance of the Manager, provided such terms and <br />conditions are not inconsistent with the provisions of this agreement, the City Charter or <br />any other state law. <br />SECTION 19. NO REDUCTION OF BENEFITS <br />The City Council shall not at any time during the term of this agreement reduce <br />the salary, compensation or other financial benefits of the Manager, except to the degree <br />it imposes such a reduction across-the-board for all employees of the City. <br />SECTION 20. NOTICES <br />Notices pursuant to this agreement shall be given by first class mail, postage <br />• prepaid, addressed as follows: <br />City Council: Mayor <br />P. O. Box 911 <br />Charlottesville, Virginia 22902 <br />Manager: Gary O'Connell <br />1720 Yorktown Drive <br />Charlottesville, Virginia 22901 <br />Alternatively, notices required pursuant to this agreement may be personally served in the <br />same manner as is applicable to civil judicial practice. Notice shall be deemed given as <br />of the date of personal service or as of the date of deposit of such written notice in the <br />United States Postal Service. <br />SECTION 21. ENFORCEABILITY <br />In the event the City Council or the City of Charlottesville breaches any of the <br />provisions of this agreement, it shall be responsible for the payment of all reasonable <br />attorney's fees and costs incurred by the Manager in enforcing the agreement. <br />0 7 <br />
