24 <br /> <br />resolution was adopted. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to <br />execute on behalf of the City the following document, in <br />form approved by the City Attorney: <br /> <br />Deed between City and Charlottesville Redevelopment <br />and Housing Authority dated September 3, 1986 <br />conveying property (Parcel Z on TM28-1) adjacent to <br />pedestrian mall from CRHA to City. <br /> <br /> A copy of such document shall be kept on file with <br />the minutes of the Council meeting at which this <br />resolution was adopted. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF HOUSING AUTHORITY BONDS <br /> <br /> Mr. John Little. representing the applicants <br />requesting the bonds, stated that three of the requests <br />for bonds were loCated in Albemarle County and the County <br />had requested that Council act on their behalf. Mr. <br />Little stated that the bonds would not effect the City's <br />annual allotment of bonds. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Towe, seconded by Mr. Barnes, <br />Council unanimously authorizing the issuance of Housing <br />Authority Bonds to 1) Sigma Chi Renovation Limited <br />Partnership, 2) Pi Kappa Alpha Renovation Limited <br />Partnership, 3) Alpha Omicron Pi Renovation Limited <br />Partnership, 4) Sigma Nu Renovation Limited Partnership, <br />5) Sigma Phi Renovation Limited Partnership, and 6) Kappa <br />Sigma Renovation Limited Partnership. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Charlottesville Redevelopment and <br />Housing Authority (the "Authority") has considered the <br />application of the following Virginia limited partnerships <br />(together, the "Applicants"), each of whose principal <br />office is Madison Hall, University Avenue, Post Office Box <br />9012, Charlottesville, Virginia 22906-9012, for the <br />issuance of the Authority's bonds in the following maximum <br />amounts (together, the "Bonds") to assist in the financing <br />of each Applicants' renovation of a housing facility to be <br />used as a fraternity house (together, the "Facilities") to <br />be leased in part to individuals and in part to the <br />entities named below. The first three Facilities named <br />below will be located at the addresses noted below, each <br />of which is located in a Conservation District in the City <br />of Charlottesville, Virginia (the "City").
