87 <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> There were no matters by the public. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox said he would like to underscore how important he feels the work of the <br />Music Resource Center is, and acknowledged the support expressed for the nursing <br />clinics. <br /> <br /> Mr. Toscano asked if the Housing Authority has set aside money for the nursing <br />clinics, and Mr. Cox said that the Board has asked staff for options for one-time funding. <br /> <br /> Mr. Caravati noted that the Housing Authority has very little flexibility in its <br />operating funds. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox said he thinks the nursing clinics have the option for future grants in the <br />long-term <br /> <br /> Ms_ Richards expressed concern about whether the nursing clinics are tapping into <br />the Medicare or Medicaid Programs, and whether they have explored a relationship with <br />the Health Department. Ms. Richards said that while the nursing clinics have provided <br />poignant testimonials for their program, she does have questions about funding it. <br /> <br /> Ms. Richards said she feels there may be funding available for the Music <br />Resource Center through the Weed and Seed Program and suggested that be explored. <br /> <br /> Ms. Daugherty announced that the first community dialogue on the future of <br />school faciliti es will be held on Wednesday. <br /> <br /> Ms. Daugherty said that the Albemarle County Planning Commission has <br />rescheduled its public hearing on the Brass, Inc. proposal on March 31. <br /> <br /> On motion by, seconded by, Council voted (Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Ms. <br />Daugherty, Ms. Richards, Mr. Toscano. Noes: None.) to meet in executive session for <br />the purpose of considering the acquisition or use of reaI property for public purpose, or <br />the disposition of publicly held property, as authorized by Section 2.1-344(A)(3) of the <br />Virginia Code, and more specifically described as property located near West Main <br />Street; and for the purpose of consultation with legal counsel and briefings by staff <br />members, consultants or attorneys pertaining to actual or probable litigation, or other <br />specific legal matters requiring the provision of legal advice by counsel, as authorized by <br />Section 2,1-344(A)(7) of the Virginia Code. <br /> <br /> Council reconvened in open session and, on motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by <br />Mr. Caravati, certified (Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Ms. Daugherty, Ms. Richards, Mr. <br />Toscano. Noes: None.) that, to the best of each member's knowledge, (i) only public <br />business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by Virginia law <br />were discussed in the executive meeting to which this certification resolution applies, and <br />(ii) only such public business matters as were identified in the motion convening the <br />executive meeting were heard, discussed or considered by the Council. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
