t47 On motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by Mr. Caravati, the ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT FOR TOWE PARK TENANT HOUSE" was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. CONSENT AGENDA On motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by Mr. Caravati, the following consent agenda items were approved by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Ms. Daugherty, Mr. Toscano. Noes: None. Absent: Ms. Richards. Mr. Cox congratulated the team that brought the co-housing proposal forward and said he hopes that other unique housing proposals such as this will be brought forward. Mr. Cox said he is glad to see that the Cherry Avenue residents have organized to get permit parking, and he said he hopes that the City can look at reducing the parking of cars on the comer. APPROPRIATION: $131,797 - Drug Court Grant (carried over) f. RESOLUTION: Approving Permit Parking on Cherry Avenue between 9th Street, S.W. and l0th Street, S.W. WHEREAS, residents of Cher~ Avenue between 9th Street, S.W. and l0th Street, S.W. have requested that City Council designate that street as a restricted parking block; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the permit parking regulations, City staff have conducted on street parking surveys and mailed notice to all residents of the affected area that Council will consider designating such area as a restricted parking block; and WHEREAS, the surveys have shown that at least 75% of the total number of on street parking spaces in the proposed restricted parking block were occupied, and at least 50% of the total number of on street parking spaces in that block were occupied by commuter vehicles; and WHEREAS, Council has considered:
