RE,SOLUTiON: <br /> <br />Rescue Squad Variance Request (computer data <br />requirement) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad is an emergence <br />Medical services agency licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia pursuant to, and <br />subject to, the Department of Health Rules and Regulations Governing Emergency <br />Medical Services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad is a volunteer rescue <br />squad with its principal office in the City of Charlottesville; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad desires to obtain a <br />variance from the Department of Health Rules and Regulations Governing Emergency <br />Medical Services pertaining to the submission of call report minimum data on a schedule <br />set by the Virginia Office of EMS as set forth in 12 VAC 5-30-90(D)(3); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the variance would'expire on July 1, 2001; now, therefore <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that <br />this Council recommends that the Board of Health grant the aforesaid request for <br />variance from the Department of Health Rules and Regulations Governing Emergency <br />Medical Services pertaining to the submission of call report minimum data on a schedule <br />set bythe Virginia Office of EMS as set forth in 12 VAC 5-30-90(D)(3) until July 1, <br />2001. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE: "AN ORDINANCE CLOSINGs VACATING AND <br />DISCONTINUING A PORTION OF LEANDER AVEN-tJE AND A 12 <br />FOOT ALLEY BETWEEN AVON STREET AND SIXTH STREET" <br /> (2nd reading) <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: $178,116 - FARE FREE TROLLEY (DOWNTOWN TO U.
