Absent: Dr. Gunter, Dr. Hall. <br /> <br /> Dr. Vincent Cibbarelli, Superintendent of Schools, <br />summarized plans for the dedication ceremony for the <br />Charlottesville High School Center for the Performing <br />Arts scheduled for May 9th. <br /> <br /> Ms. Alicia Lugo, .School Board Chairman, invited Council <br />to attend baccalaureate and graduation ceremonies for <br />Charlottesville High School. Ms. Lugo expressed her <br />appreciation to Council and City staff for their~efforts <br />toward obtaining the new facilities at the high school. <br /> <br /> On a question fromMr. Buck regarding progress in <br />attracting community groups to the Center for Performing <br />Arts, Mr. Jim Dunbar of school administration, responded <br />that advertisements would be placed in local newspapers <br />indicating the availability of the Center.
