' <br /> <br /> On motion by Dr. Gunter., seconded by Mr Barnes, Council <br />voted to meet in executive session to discuss personnel matters <br />as exempted by Section 2.1-344(a)(1] of the Virginia Freedom of <br />Information Act. i <br /> <br />COUNCIL CHAMBER Monday, June 17, 1985 <br /> <br /> Council met in regular session on this date with the following <br />members present: Mr. Barnes, Mr. Buck, Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Gunter, <br />Dr. Hall. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Mr. Barnes, the <br />minutes of May 13th were unanimously approved as presented. <br /> <br /> On motion by Dr. Hail, seconded by Dr. Gunter, the minutes <br />of May 28th were unanimously approved as corrected. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mrs. Gleason, the minutes <br />of June 3rd were unanimously approved as presented. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Ms. Priscilla Little, representing Ash Lawn, gave information <br />concerning the Ash Lawn Summer Festival. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING: UTILITY RATES <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrix summarized the proposed utility rates. <br /> <br />As there was no one to speak, the public hearing was closed. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION: VIRGINIA POWER: CHARLOTTESVILLE COMMUNITY PROFILE <br /> <br /> Mr. Milton Woodlief presented the Community Profile compiled <br />by Virginia Power which was produced to help .with the City's <br />balanced economic development. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION: YOUTH COMMISSION <br /> <br /> Dr. Tom DeMaio, Chairman of the Youth Commission, presented <br />the Summer Needs of Youth Study which had been conducted in <br />conjunction with City and School staffs.
