109 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: $3,000 SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> Mr. Hendrix explained that this appropriation would <br />cover the City's share of the sidewalk at the Juvenile <br />and Domestic Relations Court. <br /> <br /> On motion by Dr. Hall, seconded by Mrs. Gleason, <br />the $3,000 appropriation for sidewalk construction was <br />offered and carried over to the next meeting for <br />consideration. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: <br /> <br />PROCEDURES <br /> <br />APPROVING MODIFICATIONS TO HOUSING REHABILITATION <br /> <br /> Mr. Hendrix stated that the Charlottesville Housing <br />Improvement Program was requesting modification in the <br />regulations governing CHIP's use of City funds. Mr. Hendrix <br />stated that staff had reviewed the request and felt that they <br />are reasonable. <br /> <br /> Mr. Barry Kastner, Director of CHIP, requested that the <br />regulations be modified to raise the ceiling on Community <br />Development Block Grant operating reimbursement per job from <br />$7,000 to $10,000 for minor rehabilitations and from $12,000 <br />to $20,000 for major rehabilitations.
