9 <br />Director of Human Services Kaki Dimock shared information about the CARES Act <br />funding request for human services. <br />Ms. Walker asked for clarification on funds being used for Operational Modifications. <br />Dr. Richardson advised of needing to retrofit buildings to make them less touch-intensive. <br />Deputy City Manager Paul Oberdorfer shared details of proposed building modifications. <br />RESOLUTION*: Approval of the Third Amended Grant Agreement, Charlottesville <br />Supplemental Rental Assistance Program (CSRAP) <br />Redevelopment Manager, Brenda Kelley, provided a summary of the request. Ms. <br />LaToya Jackson, Housing Authority member, provided an annual update. Councilors asked <br />clarifying questions. <br />On motion by Ms. Hill, seconded by Ms. Magill, Council by the following vote <br />APPROVED the resolution: 5-0 (Ayes: Hill, Magill, Payne, Snook, Walker. Noes: none). <br />RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE THIRD AMENDED GRANT AGREEMENT FOR THE CHARLOTTESVILLE SUPPLEMENTAL RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br />FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2020 <br />WHEREAS, on June 19, 2017 the City of Charlottesville approved the creation of a <br />City-funded Supplemental Rental Assistance Program (“CSRAP”), and on April 8, 2019 City Council approved an allocation of $750,000 from Capital Improvement Program funds and on June 1, 2020 City Council approved an allocation of $900,000 from Capital Improvement Program funds to be used for the CSRAP program, which will be <br />administered by CRHA; and <br />WHEREAS, the terms and conditions under which the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (“CRHA”) will administer the CSRAP Program are set forth within a written grant agreement effective for the fiscal year beginning July 1, <br />2020 which has been reviewed by City Council this same date; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, THAT: <br />1.The CSRAP program shall be administered by CRHA in accordance with the terms and <br />conditions set forth within the CSRAP grant agreement effective for the fiscal year <br />beginning July 1, 2020, which is hereby approved by this City Council; and
