Thomas S. <br />On motion by Dr. Haden, the City Auditor was instructed to pay each of the <br />Veterans X50.00 now and $50.00 on July 1, 1939; and each of the 6'jidows 150.00 now, <br />provided that they were residing in the City of Charlottesville on January 1, 1939. <br />Mr. Russell Lettor, owner of the Redland Swimming Club, addressed the Council <br />in regard to Section 286 of the City Code of 1932 entitled "Dane Halls - Regulation <br />Ordinance- Of't, and license taxes which he will be forced to pay on May 1, 1939, due to his <br />ttDanee Halls - <br />Regulation having been annexed into the City.
