On motion the Council went into Executive Session by t'i'e follov. <br />-ing recorded voter <br />Ayes: _74r. Gleason, Dr. Haden, Mr . Huff, and Mr. Peyton. Noes: None. <br />Parking A motion by Dr. Haden, seconded by l;ar. Gleason, that the Mayor be authorized <br />deters to execute -a, contract with the Dual Parking igeter Compan7,T of Oklahoma City, for <br />parking meters on a 90 -day trial basis, was unanimously adopted. <br />Claim- On motion the claim of Alice Hill Jones as presented, was referred to the City <br />Alice Hill <br />Jones Attorney for investigation and report. <br />A motion by Dt. Haden that a Committee be appointed to meet with a Committee <br />from the Board of Supervisors, and the Childrens' Home, in regard to the Childrens, <br />Childrens' Home, was unanimously adopted. The Mayor appointed Dr. Haden, Mr. Peyton, :lar. <br />Home <br />Committee Gleason, and the City 11anager to serve on this Committee. <br />k motion by Dr. -Kaden, seconded by Mr. Peyton, that the City Manager be liven <br />authority to offer ,.Sr. R. Huff, and Mr. Jessup. <br />Minutes of the Meeting of June 5, 1939, were read and approved. <br />Refund of Reverend J. S. 'Meredith addressed the Council and requested a refund of X5.02 for <br />Tax Penalty <br />Refused penalty on 1937-38 taxes. On motion this request was refused. <br />A committee composed of Rev. Robert F. Gibson, .sir. Sol Mrs. Dee Yore, <br />Mr. E. A. Joachim, and Judge A. D. Dabney, addressed the Council in regard to an <br />additional appropriation for the 17elfare Department. On motion by Dr. Haden, seconded <br />delfare <br />Department by Mr. Gleason, the foregoing Committee was appointed to act as an Advisory Committee <br />Section 94 On motion a communication from the Chief of Police relative to Section 94 of the <br />License Tax <br />Ordinance License Tax Ordinance was referred to the City Attorney for investigation and report. <br />Appropriation A resolution appropriating $3,822.02, which was offered at the last regular meet - <br />Interest on <br />School Bonds ing, to pay interest on '339,735.00 School Improvement Bonds, Series of 1938, was <br />adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Cdr. Gleason, Dr. Haden, Mr. Huff, and <br />Mr. Jessup.
