108 AN ORDIKANCE A17NDIN(I SECTION 418 OF THE CITY COD$: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF CUARLOTTESITILLE,That section 418 of the City Code, entitled "Size of Connections",be amended by the addition of the following clause; Claued a. The Water Committee be and is hereby authorised to grant to any applic ant the permission to install a stand pipe of three inches or less in diameter,in hie building,to be used only in case of fire,provided said applicant pay all costs inetd thereto. Such installation and pipe always to be under the control,direction and inspection of the superintendent of water, and provided further,that this section be subject to the penalty as contained in section 428 of the Code.
