A Resolution granting permission to John S. Patton to erect a frame garage on <br /> <br />lot #1022 W. Main Street: <br /> <br />Resolved, by the Common Council, the Board of Aldermen concurring, <br /> <br />That John S. Patton is hereby granted permission to erect a frame garage with <br /> <br />composition roof on the rear of lot #1022 W. Main Street, provided the consent or <br /> <br />owners of adjacent property and the Board of Underwriters be had. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Common Council July 21,1920, <br />Ayes: Elliott, Forrest, Glaeson, Long, Twyman, <br />Smith and Via. <br />Concurred in by Board of Aldermen July 21,1920. <br />Ayes: Patton, Timberlake and Wheeler. <br /> <br />Presented and approved July 22,1920. <br /> <br />Mayor Signature. <br />City Clerk Signature. <br />President Board of Aldermen Signature. <br />President Common Council Signature. <br /> <br /> <br />A Resolution authorizing the City manager to dispose of the City Fire Horses: <br /> <br />Resolved, by the Common Council, the Board of Aldermen concurring, <br /> <br />That the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to dispose of the fire <br /> <br />horses made unnecessary to keep on account of tre arrival of the new truck and <br /> <br />engine, as soon as the Fire Company shall determine that they are no longer needed. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Common Council July 21,1920, <br />Ayes: Elliott, Forrest, Glaeson, Long, Smith, Twyman, <br /> and Via. <br />Concurred in by Board of Aldermen July 21,1920. <br />Ayes: Timberlake, Patton and Wheeler. <br /> <br />Presented and approved July 22,1920. <br /> <br />Mayor Signature. <br />City Clerk Signature. <br />President Board of Aldermen Signature. <br />President Common Council Signature. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A Resolution or instructing the Advisory Board in the matter of employing certain <br /> <br />Engineers to draw working plans for rater supply; authorizing Said Board to obtain <br /> <br />bids for the construction of the proposed works, and report back to the Council <br /> <br />to arrange with the owners for right -of -way, etc, referring matter of metering to <br /> <br />City Manager and Superintendent of Water; referring to the City auditor and Finance <br /> <br />Committee the matter providing the necessary finances. <br /> <br />Whereas the Advisory Board or Public Improvements effected with proceeds of bonds <br /> <br />Issued therefor has made recommendations respecting Proposed water works,--in <br /> <br />conformity therewith be it Resolved, by the Common Council, the Board of Aldermen <br /> <br />concurring: <br /> <br />1. That the Advisory Board be, and it is hereby instructed to employ Hazen <br /> <br />Whitple and Fuller to furnish working plans and specifications for the Ivy Creek <br /> <br />plan of augmenting the city water supply. <br /> <br />2. That the said Board be and it is hereby authorized upon receipt of such plans <br /> <br />and specifications to obtain bids and estimates of the cost of the proposed works <br /> <br />and report back to the Councils. <br /> <br />3. That said Board be, and it is hereby authorized to act with the City Attorney <br /> <br />to arrange with the owners of loand needed for intake basin and pipeline the conditions <br /> <br />and terms upon which necessary land can be acquired, and report back to the Councils. <br /> <br />4. That the question of metering all water services and improving city pipe lines <br /> <br />be and it is hereby referred to the City Manager and Superintendent of Water to <br /> <br />investigate and report back to the Councils. <br /> <br />5. That the matter of making available for the purposes of this work such part of <br /> <br />the authorized Water Bonds as shall be needed, estimated to be approaimately <br />
