BE IT ORDAIN.i:D, by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that the chief of the Fire Department or any of hie assistants, desi�!nated by hin, are hereby authorized dnd empowered to enter upon any bui .ding or premises in the laity for the purpose of seeing that the laws or ordinances for protection' against .fire or fire hazards are obeyed. The occupant or owner of any such building or premises who shall fail or fefuse to permit such insFection to be made shall be fined not less than five dollars ('5.00) nor more than one hundred dollars( $100900) and each day of such refusal Shall consititute a separate offense. _01prk Ayes, Brown and Morris, floes 1Jone.
