<br />ZONING OR;'INANCE AMENDMENT, ADDING SECTION 22a, COSTS AND PAY OF BOARD.
<br />Be it ordained by the douncil of the City of Charlottesville that the Zoning Ordinance hereto_
<br />fore enacted on June 17th, 1929, Ordinance Book 1 page 469, at seq, be amended by inserting
<br />the following section, which is hereby designated Section 22a.
<br />SECTION 22a. COSTS AND PAY -OF BOARD.
<br />In addition to the requirements of the State Law relative to an appeal from a decision of
<br />the Building Inspector to the Board of Zoning Appeal, every such appellant, before delivering
<br />a Notice of Appeal to said Board, shall deposit the sum of $10.00 as costs with the City Collector,
<br />who shall note on said Notice that the deposit required has been paid.
<br />Should the decision of the Building Inspector on Appeal be sustained by said Board, said de.
<br />posit shall be paid into the City Treasury, but should the decision of said Inspector be reversed,
<br />in whole or in part, said deposit shall be returned to said appellant.
<br />Each Member of the Board of Zoning Appeals shall be allowed a fee of $2.00 for each appeal
<br />considered and heard by such member, which shall be paid by the City Treasurer upon presentation
<br />of proper voucher, after being approved by the City Auditor.
<br />Thii ordinRnee shall be in force and effect from the date of its passage.

<br />PLUMBING QUALIFICATIONS WAIVER
<br />Be it ordained that the Plumbing Ordinance be amended so as to provide as follows:
<br />"That the requirements as to the examination and qualification of persons who
<br />may be licensed as Plumbers, may be waived and dispensed with by the Council upon
<br />good and sufficient cause being shown."

<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 288 OF THE CITY
<br />CODE OF 1909 REGULATING POOL ROOMS, BOWLING ALLEYS, ETC.,
<br />Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that Section 288 of the City
<br />Code of 1909 be re-enacted so as to read as follows:
<br />SEC. 288. BILLIARD SALOONS, POOL ROOMS, MINIATURE GOLF COURSES, ETC. --REGULATIONS CONCERNING.

<br />All Billiard Salgons, Pool Rooms, Bowling Alleys, Shooting Galleries, and Minia-
<br />ture Gold' Courses shall be closed every night during the week not later than 12 o'clock
<br />and remain closed until 7 O'clock the following morning.
<br />Violation of this section shall,be punishable.'by a fine of not less than $5.00 nor
<br />more than $25.00 for each offense; and, if any ow or of any such premises as set
<br />forth above, shall knowingly permit the violation of this section, such person shall
<br />be deemed to be equally guilty and fined a like sum.
