<br />South Street.
<br />Violation of this Ordinance shall be punished for the first conviction not less than
<br />$2.50, for the second conviction within one year not less than $5.00, and for the third or
<br />subsequent conviction within one year, not less than $10.00.

<br />NEW PARAGRAPH ADDED TO SECTION 32 OF BUILDING CODE ORDINANCE ENTITLED
<br />"LICENSE TO DO ELECTRICAL WIRING%
<br />Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that the following para-
<br />graph be added to Section 32 of the Building Code, entitled "Licenses to do Electrical
<br />Wiring":
<br />Provided, however, that a radio antannea may be installed by a person who is not a
<br />licensed electrician if a proper permit is secured and such installation is inspected
<br />and approved by the City Electrician, before it is used.

<br />SECTION 10 OF LICENSE TAX ORDINANCE AMENDED.
<br />Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that Section 10 of the
<br />Ordinance adopted March 170 1930, known as the License Tax Ordinance entitled "Agents --
<br />Real Estate or Land" be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
<br />Section 10. Agents - Real Estate. -Salesmen for Real Estate Agents.
<br />A real estate agent shall pay the spun of $75.00.
<br />A real estate salesman operating for, with or under a real
<br />estate agent shell pay tho sum of $25.00.
<br />Provided however thH t as to firms or corporations paying a
<br />license as a real estate agent under this section only one person
<br />may operate under the license tax paid by such firm or corporation.
<br />All other persons operating as a real estate salesman for, with or
<br />under such firm or corporation as salesman shall pay a lioense tax
<br />as real estate saleam an regardless of whether they be members of
<br />such firm or officers of such corporation or not.
<br />A real estate agent within the meaning of this section is any
<br />person, firm or corporation who or which for compensation or valuable
<br />consideration, sells or offers for sale, buys or offers to buy, or
<br />negotiates the purchase or sale or exchange of real estste, or who
<br />or shall lease or offers to lease, or rents or offers to rent any
<br />real estste or the improvements thereon for others. A real estate
<br />salesman within the meaning of this section is any person who for
<br />valuable consideration, . sells or offers for sale, buys or offers to
<br />buy or negotiates the purchase or sale or exchange of real estate or
<br />who leases or offer.: to lease or rents or offers to rent any real
<br />estate or the improvements thereon for others, for with or under a
<br />real estate agent regardless of whether he receives N k& compensation
<br />a salary or a portion of the commissions earned in such transaction.
<br />Provided, however, that a person, fim or corporation who leases, or
<br />offers to lease property only shall pay $25.00.
<br />This ordinance shell be effective for the current license tax
<br />year,
