<br />Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that the Loning urdinanee hereto-
<br />fore enacted on June 17th, 19290 ordinance gook 1 page 469, et seq, as well as the plat therein re-
<br />ferred to, be amended by inserting the following section, .,hich is hereby designated Section 1 a.
<br />Section 1 a. Changing part of A 1 (Residence Districts) to B 2 ( Business Districts), All of
<br />the area within the boundary lines hereinafter set forth is hereby chs �
<br />changed from A 1, �esidenae llis-
<br />trict, to B 2, Business District: Beginning at the intersection of Cabell and 7th street, thence
<br />along 7th Street to Dice btreet; thence along Dice otreet to the Western boundary of 7 1/2 Street;
<br />thence in a southwesterly direction along the western boundary of 7 1/2 Street to the line between
<br />McVey and Greaver; thence in a northwesterly direction with the southern line of the Greaver and
<br />Peyton properties, a distance of approximately 486 feet to the western boundary of said keyton
<br />property; thence with said western line in a northerly direction to the northern line of Estes
<br />Street, if extended; thence along the southern boundary of C, Industrial District to Cabell Street;
<br />thence along Cabell Street to the beginning, the boundaries of said area being as shown on the plat S
<br />entitled "Survey and Plat Showing Change of Zoning Ordinance Ma ado b i
<br />Map, adopted y City Council June 17th,
<br />1929#" signed by the Mayor, Clerk of the Council and City Manager, and dated November 18th, 19300
<br />which plat accompanies and is hereby declered to be a part of this ordinance.
<br />All parts of the aforementioned Zoning Ordinance enacted June 17th, 19290 as well as the leap
<br />therein incorporated and all other ordinances wh'ch may be in conflict with the provisions of this
<br />ordinance are hereby repealed.
<br />This ordinance shall be in effect from and after November 18th, 1930.

<br />---JOINT HEALTH BOARD --
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, as follows:
<br />1. The City Board of Health shall be composed of the two members of the Joint Health Board
<br />Which are selected by the County of Albemarle, the member of said Joint Health Board which is se-
<br />lected by the University of Virginia and the two members of said Joint Health Board which are se-
<br />lected by the City of Charlottesville, and said Joint Health Board, when selected and organized as
<br />Provided for in a contract dated November 19th, 1930, by and between the said County, City and
<br />University, creating said Joint Health Board, shall be in fact, and the same is hereby made the
<br />Board of Health of the City of Charlottesville.
<br />2. The two members of said Board to be selected by the City as aforesaid, shall be appointed
<br />.o
<br />by the City Council, and shall hold office until September 1st, 1932, and shall be elected there-
<br />after for a term of 2 years, and the other members of said City Board shall. hold office so long as
<br />they, or their successors, shall remain members of the Joint Health Board.
<br />3. The said Board shall exercise, perform and carry out all the powers, duties and obligations
<br />now or hereafter prescribed by City Ordinance or State Law which. pertain to Public Health and Sani-
<br />tation.
