This coupon is receivable <br />for all taxes, debts or demands due the City of Charlottesville. <br />City Treasurer <br />The blanks in the above form of bond and coupon shall be filled in with <br />the respective dates as set forth in Paragraph I of this ordinance. <br />III. That the said bonds shall have the said Corporate Seal of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, affixed thereto, and shall be signed by the Mayor, the Clerk of <br />the Council, and the Treasurer of said City, and the coupons shall be authenticated by the <br />lithographed facsimile of the signature of the Cit, Treasurer which is hereby declared to <br />be in all respects the equivalent to the manual signing thereof by said Treasurer. <br />TV. That the Finance Committee of the City be and is hereby given absolute <br />power to act on behalf of the City in selling at par or more the whole of said bond issue <br />or any part thereof. <br />V. That for the purpose of issuing said bonds in place of said issue to be <br />redeemed thereby, and securing the application of proceeds thereof to said purpose, the <br />aforesaid officers of the City are hereby authorized and directed to execute said bonds as <br />aforesaid, and upon said bonds being sold said officers shall deposit same with the Treasurer <br />of the City of Charlottesville to be held by said depository in escrow, for the delivery of <br />same to the purchaser upon payment by them in accordance with the terms of their purchase, <br />when and as the bonds which are to be redeemed by this issue shall be presented and paid <br />at the office of the City Treasurer in such manner, bond by bond, so that there shall at no <br />time be outstanding an aggregate of said two issues exceeding the said amount of $160,000.00. <br />VI. That so long as the said bonds or any of them shall remain outstanding and <br />unpaid there shall annually be levied on all taxable property of the City a tax sufficient to <br />provide for the payment of the principal and interest as the same becomes due and payable. <br />VII.
