SEC. 437. Fees For Digging Graves, Notice.
<br />The following charges shall be made for digging graves:
<br />For a whole section 48.00; half section $5.00; quarter -section, .2.50; one-eighth

<br />(d) Should the City, at any time, discontinue the control and supervision of
<br />the several cemeteries, then such funds shall be transmitted to its successors, or
<br />returned to the estates paying such sums into said fund.
<br />(e) There shall be a Perpetual Care Cemetery Commission who shall be custodian
<br />of said fund. Said Commission shall be composed of the Mayor, City Treasurer, the
<br />City Auditor and the Chairman of the Finance Committee and the Superintendent of
<br />Cemeteries. It shall be the duty of the said Commission to properly invest said
<br />fund and to turn into the City Treasury, annually on the last day of the fiscal
<br />year, the income accruing from said fund.

<br />For breaking, injuring or destroyinb any monument, gravestone or mark, shrub,
<br />plant or tree in the cemeteries, or parts, or any property appertaining thereto,
<br />or for trespassing in any manner on the grounds, the person or persons so offending
<br />shall be fined not less than X5.00 nor more than $25.00.
<br />SEC. 439. Care of Graves of War Veterans.
<br />The Superintendent of Parris & Cemeteries is directed to tLke care of graves of
<br />soldiers who served in the war betzeen the States, the Spanish-hmerican War and the
<br />World War wherever there is a marker or inscription to indentify them, at the expense
<br />of the City where no provision has been made for their upkeep.
<br />SEC. 440. Record of Burials.
<br />The Superintendent of Parks & Cemeteries shall keep a record of each cemetery
<br />according to plats prepared by the City Engineer showing the name, lot and section
<br />' number, grave and date of interment of every person buried in said cemeteries.
<br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the date of its passage and all
<br />ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

<br />CODE OF 1932 ENTITLED "ZONING" AS WELL AS ALL SUBSECTIONS THEREOF OF THE
<br />SAME BEING SECTIONS 495 (1) TO 495 (23) OF THE SAID CODE BOTH INCLUSIVE
<br />AND ALL AMENDMENTS THERETO.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED that Section 495 of the City Code of 1932 entitled "Zoning" as well
<br />as all subsections thereto, the same being Sections 495 (1) to 495 (23) of said code,
<br />both inclusive, and all amendments thereto be amended and reenacted so as to read as
<br />follows:
<br />Each grave shall be not less than
<br />five feet in depth.
<br />No interment shall be
<br />made
<br />which shall disturb the remains of
<br />the dead, or which
<br />shall displace or in-
<br />jure
<br />any monument or stone placed over
<br />a grave; all persons
<br />desiring to have a

<br />opened shall notify the keeper of
<br />Cemeteries at least
<br />twenty-four hours be-
<br />fore
