488 <br />SECTION 8. IN ALL CASES WHERE THE SELLER COLLECTS THE PRICE <br />FOR UTILITY SERVICES PERIODICALLY, THE TAX HEREBY IMPOSED AND <br />LEVIED MAY BE COMPUTED ON THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF PURCHASES DURING <br />SUCH PERIOD, PROVIDED THAT THE AMOUNT OF TAX TO BE COLLECTED SHALL <br />BE THE NEAREST WHOLE CENT TO THE AMOUNT COMPUTED. <br />SECTION 9. ANY PURCHASER FAILING, REFUSING OR NEGLECTING TO <br />PAY THE TAX HEREBY IMPOSED OR LEVIED, AND ANY SELLER VIOLATING <br />THE PROVISIONS HEREOF, AND ANY OFFICER, AGENT OR EMPLOYEE OF ANY <br />SELLER VIOLATING THE PROVISIONS HEREOF, SHALL UPON CONVICTION, BE <br />SUBJECT TO A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00). <br />EACH FAILURE, REFUSAL, NEGLECT OR VIOLATION AND EACH DAY S <br />CONTINUANCE THEREOF SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE OFFENSE. <br />ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 18, 1954 <br />AYES: MR. TEBELL <br />CLERK j PRESIDENT <br />AN ORDINANCE APPENDING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 64 <br />OF CHAPTER 18 OF THE CHARLOTTESVILLE CITY CODE <br />OF 1945. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE THAT SECTION 64 <br />OF CHAPTER 16 OF THE CHARLOTTESVILLE CITY CODE OF 1945 BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY <br />AMENDED AND RE-ENACTED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 64. PARKING TO BE IN ACCORDANCE V1'ITH SIGNS, SIGNALS, ETC. <br />ALL VEHICLES, WHETHER PARKED ON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OR IN ANY OF THE <br />PARKING LOTS WITHIN THE CITY WHICH ARE OPERATED BY THE CITY, SHALL BE PARKED <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH SIGNS, SIGNALS, STREET MARKS, AND OTHER DEVICES FOR HANDLING <br />TRAFFIC WHICH MAY BE PROVIDED BY THE CITY k-ANAGER AND CHIEF OF POLICE, PURSUANT <br />TO SECTION 6 OF THIS CHAPTER AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO. <br />CL ERK <br />ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 15, 1954 <br />AYES: MR.
