YARDS SPECIFIED IN THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE DISTRICT IN WHICH THE TRAILER IS LOCATED. <br />F. ONE OR MORE TRAILERS MAY BE TEMPORARILY USED AS AN OFFICE WHEN LOCATED ON THE PREMISES <br />UPON WHICH A BUILDING IS BEING ERECTED. <br />SECTION 3. TRAILER COURT REGULATIONS: <br />(1) PERMITS <br />A. IT SHALL BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO ESTABLISH, OPERATE OR MAINTAIN OR PERMIT TO BE <br />ESTABLISHED, OPERATED OR MAINTAINED UPON ANY PROPERTY OWNED OR CONTROLLED BY HIM., A TRAILER COURT <br />WITHIN THE LIMITS OF CHARLOTTESVILLE WITHOUT HAVING FIRST SECURED A SPECIAL PERMIT ISSUED BY THE <br />BUILDING OFFICIAL. A PERMIT FEE OF $10.00 PLUS $1.00 FOR EACH TRAILER SPACE WITH A MAXIMUM LIMIT <br />OF $50.00 SHALL BE CHARGED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL FOR EACH SUCH PERMIT, SUCH FEE BEING IN ADDITION <br />TO THE FEES FOR PLUMBING., ELECTRICAL AND BUILDING PERMITS WHERE REQUIRED. <br />B. THE APPLICATION FOR SUCH SPECIAL PERMIT SHALL INCLUDE THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE <br />OWNER OF THE TRACT (IF OWNED BY SOME PERSON OTHER THAN THE APPLICANT., A DULY VERIFIED STATEMENT BY <br />THAT OWNER., THAT THE APPLICANT IS AUTHORIZED BY HIM TO CONSTRUCT OR MAINTAIN THE TRAILER COURT AND <br />MAKE THE APPLICATION), AND SUCH A LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES, UPON WHICH THE TRAILER COURT IS <br />OR WILL BE LOCATED, AS WILL READILY IDENTIFY AND DEFINITELY LOCATE THE PREMISES. THE APPLICATION <br />SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY A COURT PLAN SHOWING THE FOLLOWING: <br />(1) THE EXTENT AND AREA USED FOR COURT PURPOSES. <br />(2) ROADWAYS AND DRIVEWAYS. <br />(3) LOCATION OF SPACES FOR TRAILERS. <br />(4) METHOD AND PLAN OF GARBAGE REMOVAL. <br />(5) PLAN FOR ELECTRICAL LIGHTING OF UNITS. <br />(6) LOCATION AND NUMBER OF SANITARY CONVENIENCES. <br />(2) PERMITS ISSUED UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE CONVEY NO RIGHT TO ERECT ANY BUILDING, TO <br />DO ANY PLUMBING WORK OR TO DO ANY ELECTRICAL WORK. <br />SECTION 4. SITE REQUIREMENTS: <br />(1) NO TRAILER COURT SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN THE LIMITS OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA UNLESS CITY <br />WATER AND SEWER CONNECTIONS ARE AVAILABLE. <br />(2) EVERY TRAILER COURT SHALL BE LOCATED ON A WELL -DRAINED AREA., AND THE PREMISES SHALL BE PROPERLY <br />GRADED SO AS TO PREVENT THE ACCUMULATION OF STORM OR OTHER WATERS. <br />(3) NO OCCUPIED TRAILER SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA WITHIN <br />THE STIPULATED YARD REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ZONING DISTRICT IN WHICH SUCH TRAILER COURT IS LOCATED, NOR LESS <br />THAN TEN FEET FROM ANY OTHER BUILDING OR VEHICLE OR THE BOUNDARY LINE OF THE TRACT ON WHICH IT IS LOCATED. <br />(4) TRAILER SPACES SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN TWENTY-FIVE BY THIRTY-FIVE FEET AND SHALL BE CLEARLY <br />DESIGNATED BY PROPER MARKERS AT EACH CORNER. THE TRAILER COURT SHALL BE SO ARRANGED THAT ALL TRAILER <br />SPACES SHALL FACE OR ABUT ON A DRIVEWAY OF NOT LESS THAN EIGHTEEN FEET IN WIDTH GIVING EASY ACCESS TO <br />A PUBLIC STREET. SUCH DRIVEWAY SHALL BE PAVED AND MAINTAINED IN GOOD CONDITION, BE WELL LIGHTED AT <br />NIGHT AND SHALL NOT BE OBSTRUCTED. ALL ENTRANCES AND EXITS FROM THE TRAILER COURT SHALL BE WELL MARKED <br />AND SO ARRANGED THAT THEY MAY BE EASILY CONTROLLED AND SUPERVISED. <br />(5) EVERY TRAILER SPACE SHALL BE FURNISHED WITH A WEATHERPROOF 110-115 VOLT SERVICE OUTLET. SUCH <br />OUTLET SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH AN EXTERNALLY OPERABLE SWITCH OR FUSE OF NOT MORE THAN 30 AMPERES CAPACITY <br />AND A HEAVY DUTY OUTLET RECEPTACLE. <br />(6) TRAILER COURTS SHALL BE LOCATED ONLY IN DISTRICTS WHERE THEY ARE PERMITTED BY THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE. <br />SECTION 5. WATER SUPPLY: <br />EACH TRAILER COURT SHALL PROVIDE AN ADEQUATE SUPPLY OF WATER, FURNISHED THROUGH A PIPE DISTRIBUTION <br />SYSTEM CONNECTED DIRECTLY WITH THE CITY WATER MAIN, WITH SUPPLY FAUCETS LOCATED TO SERVE EACH TRAILER <br />SPACE. <br />SECTION 6. SERVICE BUILDING: <br />EVERY TRAILER COURT SHALL HAVE ERECTED THEREON A SUITABLE BUILDING FOR HOUSING SANITARY FACILITIES, <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
