SPACES REQUIRED SHALL BE THE SUM OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE VARIOUS INDIVIDUAL USES; <br />COMPUTED SEPARATELY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS ORDINANCE; PARKING FACILITIES FOR ONE USE <br />SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS PROVIDING THE REQUIRED PARKING FACILITIES FOR ANY OTHER USE. <br />(3). REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROVISION OF PARKING FACILITIES WITH RESPECT TO TWO OR MORE <br />PROPERTY USES OF THE SAME OR DIFFERENT TYPES MAY BE SATISFIED BY THE PERMANENT ALLOCATION <br />OF THE REQUISITE NUMBER OF SPACES FOR EACH USE IN A COMMON PARKING FACILITY COOPERATIVELY <br />ESTABLISHED AND OPERATED; PROVIDED, THAT THE NUMBER OF SPACES PROVIDED IS NOT LESS THAN <br />THE SUM OF THE INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS; AND PROVIDED FURTHER THAT THE SPECIFICATIONS IN <br />REGARD TO LOCATION., PLANS ETC. ARE COMPLIED WITH. <br />SECTION 37-5. RULES FOR COMPUTING REQUIRED SPACES. <br />A. "FLOOR AREA" SHALL MEAN THE GROSS FLOOR AREA OF THE SPECIFIC USE. <br />B. WHERE FRACTIONAL SPACES RESULT, THE PARKING SPACES REQUIRED SHALL BE COMPUTED TO THE <br />NEAREST WHOLE NUMBER. <br />C. THE PARKING SPACE REQUIREMENTS FOR A USE NOT SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED HEREIN SHALL BE <br />• THE SAME AS REQUIRED FOR THE MOST SIMILAR USE HEREIN MENTIONED. <br />SECTION 37-6. WHENEVER A BUILDING OR USE2 CONSTRUCTED OR ESTABLISHED AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br />THIS ORDINANCE, IS CHANGED OR ENLARGED IN FLOOR AREA, NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES2 NUMBER OF <br />DWELLING UNITS SEATING CAPACITY OR OTHERWISE2 SO AS TO CREATE A NEEDS UNDER THE <br />PROVISIONS HEREOF FOR AN INCREASE OF FIVE PERCENT (5%) OR MORE IN THE NUMBER OF EXISTING <br />PARKING SPACES SUCH SPACES SHALL BE PROVIDED ON THE BASIS OF THE ENLARGEMENT OR CHANGE <br />SO THAT THERE SHALL BE A COMPLIANCE HEREWITH AFTER SUCH ENLARGEMENT OR CHANGE. <br />• C. WHENEVER A BUILDING EXISTING PRIOR TO THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE WHICH DOES <br />NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS HEREOF FOR A BUILDING ERECTED AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br />THIS ORDINANCE, IS ENLARGED THERE SHALL BE PROVIDED TEN PERCENT (10"o) MORE PARKING SPACES <br />THAN WOULD BE REQUIRED HEREUNDER IF SUCH ENLARGEMENT WERE CONSIDERED A SEPARATE BUILDING. <br />D. WHENEVER A USE EXISTING PRIOR TO THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE IS CHANGED TO A <br />USE WHICH, UNDER THE PROVISIONS HEREOF2 WOULD REQUIRE MORE PARKING SPACES THAN WOULD HEREIN <br />BE REQUIRED FOR THE OLD USE, THERE SHALL BE PROVIDED TEN PERCLNT (10%) MORE PARKING SPACES <br />THAN THE ADDITIONAL NUMBER REQUIRED FOR THE NEW USE, <br />E. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE ENLARGEMENT OR CHANGE IN USE OF A BUILDING EXISTING PRIOR TO THE <br />EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE REQUIRE MORE PARKING SPACES THAN PROVIDED HEREIN FOR BUILDINGS <br />AND USES ESTABLISHED AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />SECTION 37-7. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. <br />A. DESIGNS AND PLANS FOR ANY AREA TO BE USED FOR VEHICLE OFF STREET PARKING SHALL BE <br />SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL FOR APPROVAL. <br />B. PLANS FOR SUCH AREAS SHALL SHOW IN DETAIL THE LOCATIONS GRADES, DRAINAGE AND SURFACING <br />MATERIALS AND OTHER FEATURES, CONDITIONS OR REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ORDINANCE. FACILITIES OTHER <br />
