THAT PROPER AGREEMENTS FROM THE LANDOWNERS INVOLVED BE <br />SECURED, GIVING THE CITY THE RIGHT TO HAVE AND MAINTAIN <br />THE PRESENT STORM DRAINS LEADING FROM SAID STREET, BOTH <br />WITH RESPECT TO THE LOCATION OF SAID DRAINS AND THE DISCHARGE <br />OF WATER THEREFROM AS NOW LOCATED; <br />2. THAT CURB AND GUTTER BE CONSTRUCTED ALONG THE WEST OR LOWER <br />EDGE OF SAID STREET FROM GENTRY LANE TO WELLFORD STREET ON <br />THE CUSTOMARY TERMS; <br />THIS ACCEPTANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IF AND WHEN THE ABOVE CONDITIONS <br />ARE COMPLIED WITH. <br />A PETITION REQUESTING THE CITY TO ACCEPT DEDICATION OF GREENLEAF LANE FROM <br />`rJELLFORD STREET TO GENTRY ROAD AND FROM GENTRY ROAD TO GREENLEAF LANE WAS PRESENTED, <br />AND ON MOTION REFERRED TO MR. HAMM AND THE CITY MANAGER FOR INVESTIGATION AND REPORT. <br />A PETITION REQUESTING THAT A PORTION OF FENDALL TERRACE BE CLOSED WAS PRESENTED. <br />A MOTION BY MR. ADAMS, SECONDED BY MR. HAMM, THAT THIS MATTER BE REFERRED TO A <br />BOARD OF VIEWERS FOR INVESTIGATION AND RECOMMENDATION WAS UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED. <br />MR. S. L. WILL 1 AMSON, r,,11R. tvI i LTON GR 1 GG,, AND MR. LORI N THOMPSON WERE APPOINTED TO <br />ACT AS A BOARD OF VIEWERS 1N THIS INSTANCE. <br />CAPTAIN EWELL ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL AND STATED THAT IN WINTER TIME WHEN SNOW <br />AND SLEET WAS ON THE GROUI:D IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR HE AND THE OTHER RESIDENTS <br />OF LOWER FENDALL AVENUE TO TRAVEL UP THE STEEP GRADE OF THIS STREET, AND REQUESTED <br />THAT THE CITY INVESTIGATE THE POSSIBILITY OF CONNECTING THE LOWER END OF THIS STREET <br />TO SOME OTHER STREET. ON MOTION THIS MATTER WAS REFERRED TO THE CITY MANAGER FOR <br />INVESTIGATION AND REPORT. <br />ON MOTION BY MR. HADEN, SECONDED BY MR.
