ALLEN9 A FORMER CITY EMPLOYEES <br />REQUESTING A PENSION AS BASED ON HIS RECORD WHILE EMPLOYED BY THE <br />COMMUNICATION RES <br />REQUEST OF R. L. CITY WAS PRESENTED. AFTER CONSIDERABLE DISCUSSION, IT WAS MOVED <br />ALLEN FOR PENSION <br />BY MR. HADEN9 SECONDED BY MR. ADAMS9 THAT MR. ALLEN BE INFORMED <br />THAT SINCE HE VOLUNTARILY TER`AINATED HIS EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY AND, <br />ALSO 9 AS HE WAS NOT IN ITS EMPLOY AT THE TIME OF HIS RETIREMENT HE <br />REQUEST OF R. L. <br />ALLEN DENIED WOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A PENSIONS ANDS THEREFORE' HIS REQUEST <br />MUST BE DENIED. THE ABOVE MOTION WAS UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED. <br />A PETITION FROM CERTAIN NALLE STREET RESIDENTS REQUESTING THE <br />PETITION FROM NALLE REMOVAL OF A WALL ALONG THE NORTHWEST END OF THAT STREET AND THE <br />STREET RESIDENTS <br />REFERRED TO STREET CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK IN ITS PLACE WAS PRESENTED. ON MOTION <br />COMMITTEE <br />THIS MATTER WAS REFERRED TO THE STREET COMMITTEE FOR STUDY AND <br />REPORT. <br />ON MOTION BY MR. H ADEN 9 SECONDED BY MR. HAMM. DANIEL 8c COMPANY, CONTRACTORS ON <br />THE NEW JOINT NEGRO HIGH SCHOOL, REQUESTING WAIVER OF BUILDING FEES <br />REQUEST OF CONTRACTORS <br />WAIVER OF BLDG. FEES ON TII I S PROJECT WAS PRESENTED. THE COMMUNICATION STATED THAT THE <br />DEN 1 ED. <br />CONTRACTORS HAD NOT HERETOFORE BEEN REQUIRED TO OBTAIN BUILDING <br />PERMITS FOR MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS ANDS CONSEQUENTLY9 THEY HAD NOT <br />GIVEN CONSIDERATION TO THE COST OF SAME IN THIS INSTANCE. THE CITY <br />MANAGER EXPLAINED THAT BUILDING FEES AS SET FORTH IN THE BUILDING <br />CODES HPD BEEN PAID IN THE PAST BY CONTRACTORS FOR WORK OF A SIMILAR <br />NATURE. A MOTION BY PVR. BARR9 SECONDED BY MR. ADAMS' THAT THE ABOVE <br />REQUEST BE DENIED9 WAS UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED• <br />THE MATTER OF TREES BORDERING BARRACKS ROAD, BETWEEN RUGBY ROAD <br />TREES BORDERING AND ROUTE #29 NORTH9 WHICH WAS DISCUSSED AT THE LAST REGULAR MEETINGS <br />BARRACKS RD. <br />WAS AGAIN PRESENTED. ON MOTION THE CITY MANAGER WAS INSTRUCTED TO <br />CONTACT PROPERTY OWNERS IN THIS AREA, ALONG WITH MR. W. H.
