TEBELL. <br />THE MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS OF MARCH 16, 1953 AND MARCH 23, 1953 WERE <br />READ AND APPROVF_D. <br />THE PRESIDENT ANNOUNCED THAT THIS MEETING WAS THE TIME AND PLACE FIXED <br />FOR RECEIVING AND CONSIDERING BIDS FOR A COMMUNITY TELEVISION ANTENNA FRANCHISE <br />PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION AND ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL ON MARCH 2, 1953. <br />THE CLERK REPORTED THAT THE ORDINANCE GRANTING A COMMUNITY TELEVISION ANTENNA <br />FRANCHISE TO <br />, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, TO <br />COMMUNITY TELEVISION <br />ANTENNA FRANCHISE USE THE STREETS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, <br />ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VIRGINIA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A COMMUNITY ANTENNA <br />TELEVISION SYSTEM FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS, AND INVITATION FOR BIDS <br />HAD BEEN PUBLISHED ONCE A WEEK FOR FOUR SUCCESSIVE WEEKS IN THE DAILY PROGRESS, <br />A NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN THIS CITY. <br />THE PRESIDENT THEN CALLED FOR THE PRESENTATION OF SEALED BIDS, AND ONE <br />SEALED BID WAS DELIVERED TO HIM. HILL, MAYOR <br />CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE <br />CITY HALL <br />CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA <br />RIVANNA ELECTRONICS CORPORATION, A CORPORATION ORGANIZED AND EXISTING <br />BID - RIVANNA ELECTRONICS UNDER. THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF VIRGINIA, HEREBY OFFERS FOR A COMMUNITY <br />CORP.
