Any person vio- <br />lating this section shall be fined not less than five nor <br />more than twenty five dollars <br />SEC 26—No occupant of any premises shall tlirow.or <br />allow to be throwir,into any of the fixtures connecter) with <br />the sewers or into any sewer branch tliereof, anv cinders, <br />vegetable, fruit, fruit peelings, ashes, rags, cotton, hair <br />or any refuse matter or garbage or anything other than <br />the ordinary discharges of water closets, liquid house <br />slop and closet paper, and any person violating this see - <br />tion shall be fined not less than five nor more than twenty <br />five dollars for each offence. <br />SIX. 29 —To every kitchen sink, there shall be at- <br />tached a grease trap, constructed of metal, with hand <br />hole, or built of brick outside of the kitchen with inova- <br />ble top. <br />SEC. 3o.—Any person who shall use ony connections <br />before they are inspected and approved by the City En- <br />gineer shall be liable to afine for so doing of not less than <br />five nor snore than twenty five dollars. <br />SEC. 31.—All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict with the foregoing sections of this chapter are <br />hereby repealed. <br />SCCTIOrr 32.-1t is ordered that there shall be a committee of this <br />council known as the Sewer Connections Board to consist of the <br />Chairman of the Health Committee, the Chairman of the Sewer <br />Committee and the Health Officer, who shall have the power, after <br />making the proper examination, to order the owner or owners of <br />any property within the City, to connect closet, urinals, bath and <br />kitchen to said property with the public sewers ; and from its decis- <br />ions there shall be no appeal. Any person failing to comply with <br />the order of the Hoard to connect his property with the sewers,shall <br />be fined $I.00 per day for every day that he shall fail to make said <br />connection after the time specified in the order of the Board; unless <br />he can give a satisfactory reason for the delay. <br />
