<br />3. Appropriation for right-of-way near Kent Terrade 061600.00) .
<br />4. Appropriation for One-half Colored nigh School Site ($10,000.00).

<br />COUNCIL CHAMBER, FEBRUIiRY 3, 1947
<br />The Council met in regular session on this date with the following members
<br />present: Mr. Adams, Mr. Gleason, Mr. Nash, Mr. Tebell, and Mr. Watson.
<br />Minutes of the Meeting of January 20, 1947 were read and approved.
<br />Mr. John A. Gilmore addressed the Council and stated that several years ago he
<br />Gilmore- deeded to the City a strip of land through Lyons Addition for the extension of Route
<br />Route 250
<br />250, ana it now appeased that this land was not going to be used. He requested that
<br />if this land was not used that it be redeeded to him. The Mayor requested that this
<br />matter be held open until the traffic survey,which is to be made in the near future,
<br />is completed.
<br />Mr. Bernard P. Chamberlain, Attorney, addressed the Council and suggested that a
<br />Traffia traffic light be installed at the intersection of Rugby Road and Preston Avenue. He

<br />Freston Ave.
