It is hereby declared to be the legislative intent that this Article would have been adopted if such illegal, invalid, or unconstitutional provision, sentence, clause, section, or part had not been included therein, and if the person or circumstances to which the <br />chapter or any part thereof is inapplicable had been specifically exempted therefrom. <br /> <br />Sec. 2-443. No waiver of other legal rights. <br /> (a) Any person who is aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice may bring an appropriate action in a court of competent jurisdiction, including but not limited to a judicial review of a final decision made by the Commission or Office, as provided for by any other <br />applicable law. <br /> (b) Nothing in this Chapter shall prevent any person from exercising any right or seeking any remedy to which the person might otherwise be entitled; nor shall any person be required to pursue any remedy set forth herein as a condition of seeking relief from any court or other <br />agency, except as is otherwise provided by applicable Virginia or federal law.
