Potential revenue <br />additions include: $5 court fee dedicated to Sheriffs Office ($150,000); U. Va. funding <br />for free trolley ($30,000); Increase of E-911 surcharge to $2.00 ($380,000); 25% increase <br />in trash sticker fees ($275,000); and $5 increase in auto decal ($130,000). Mr. O'Connell <br />also reviewed possible expenditure reductions and additions. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lynch suggested reducing the strategic investment fund. <br /> Ms. Richards said that the AIDS Support Group had not applied for CDBG funds <br />because they mistakenly understood they had a three-year grant. <br /> Mr. O'Connell said that $100,000 is available in CDBG fimds which could be <br />used. <br /> <br /> Ms. Richards said an effort to raise private sector funds for the Drug Court is <br />being made, but she remains concerned about Region Ten's program at the jail. <br /> Mr. O'Connell said that the reduced revenue for Region Ten impacts OAR's <br />programs. <br /> <br /> Mr. O'Connell said the proposed 1/2% decrease of city-wide budgets does not <br />impact staffing levels. <br /> <br /> <br />
