CONOVER ASKED THAT IN THE MINUTES OF DECEMBER 7, 1981, <br /> <br />THE DISCUSSION OF THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE SHOW THaT HE AND MS. <br />GLEASON ~OTED AGAINST ADOPTED THE CODE, WISHING IT WOULD BE SOME- <br />WHAT MORE STRINGENT. <br /> <br /> WITH THAT CHANGE, DN MOTION BY MR. CDNOVER, SECONDED BY MS. <br />GLEASON, THE MINUTES DF DECEMBER 7TH WERE UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL WAIVED APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF DECEMBER 10TH AND <br /> <br />17TH UNTIL THE NEXT REGULAR MEETING. <br /> <br /> ON MOTION BY MR. GLEASON, COUNCIL UNANIMOUSLY APPOINTED THE <br />FOLLOWING APPLICANTS TO THE A~CHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD: JOHN <br />FARMER, REAPPOINTED AS A CERTIFIED ARCHITECT; STAN TATUM, CITIZEN <br />REPRESENTATIVE AND MILTON GRIGG, CERTIFIED ARCHITECT. <br /> <br /> BETTY MCLEMDRE THANKED THE CITY FOR ITS SUPPORT. SHE INDI- <br /> <br />CATED THE'BUREAU HAD TWO MAJOR PROJECTS THAT HAD MADE SIGNIFICANT <br />IMPACT ON CENTER VISITATI~N~ GROUP TOUR DEVELOPMENT AND THE <br /> <br />NEW SIGNAGE SYSTEM. MS. MCLEMDRE STATED THAT GROUP TOUR DEVELOPMENT <br />HAD BEEN DONE IN A COST EFFICIENT WAY, RESULTING IN A 17% INCREASE <br />IN BUS/GROUP TOUR TRAVEL. THE REPORT INDICATED THAT SINCE THE IN- <br />STALLATION DF THE NEW~SIGNAGE SYSTEM, WHICH DIRECTS TRAVEL TO THE <br /> <br /> <br />
