ALBRO, MR. BUCK, MR. CONOVER, MS. GLEASON, -- <br />DR. HALL. <br /> ON MOTION BY MS. GLEASON, SECONDED BY MR. ALBRD, COUNCIL <br />UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE MINUTES PF DECEMBER 10TH, 17TH AND 22ND. <br /> MS. GLEASON, REFERRING TO THE MINUTES OF DECEMBER 21, ~1981, <br />INDICATED THAT THE SENTENCE WHICH STATES SHE AND MR. CONOVER VO~ED <br />AGAINST ADOPTING THE (FIRE PREVENTIDN) CODE IS INCORRECT. SHE ASKED <br />THAT THE STATEMENT READ 'MR. CDNOVER AND MS. GLEASON WERE IN FAVOR <br />DF THE CODE, BUT OBJECTED TO THE CHANGE IN THE PROPOSAL, WHICH <br /> <br />WOULD DELETE THE WORDS 'ANNUAL INSPECTIDN' WITH THAT STIPULATION, <br /> <br />ON MOTION BY DR. HALL, SECONDED BY MR. CONDVER, THE MINUTES OF <br />DECEMBER 21, 1982 WERE UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED. <br /> <br /> WILLIAM S. JOHNSON OF 217 OLD LYNCHBURG ROAD, ADDRESSED COUNCIL, __ <br /> <br />EXPRESSING HIS CDNCERNS THAT COUNCIL DOES NOT HAVE THE INTEREST OF <br /> <br />THE CITIZENRY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE UPON MAKING ITS DECISIONS. MR. <br /> <br />JOHNSON DIRECTED HIS CONCERNS TO INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF COUNCIL AND <br />STAFF, ECHDEING STATEMENTS DISAPPRDVING THEIR METHODS AS A GOVERNING <br />BODY AND AS INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF COUNCIL AND STAFF. <br /> COLE HENDRIX, CITY MANAGER, GAVE A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE - <br /> <br /> CDMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLDCK GRANT PROGRAM AND THE PURPOSE OF THE <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING. MR. HENDRIX INDICATED THAT THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE <br /> <br /> WILL RECEIVE APPROXIMATELY $730~000 UNDER THE CDBG PROGRAM AS A <br /> <br /> <br />
