BUCK STATED THAT THE EARLY PURCHASE OF VEHICLES FOR THE POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT WOULD RESULT IN A SAVINGS OF $21,300 AND A R'EDUCTION IN THE <br /> <br /> AMOUNT SET ASIDE FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION WOULD EQUAL A $37,425 SAVINGS IN <br /> <br /> THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br /> <br /> MR. CONOVER MOTIONED THAT THE LINE ITEM OF STREETS AND SIDEWALKS BE <br /> DROPPED FROM LEVEL C TO LEVEL B, WHICH WOULD AMOUNT TO A SAVINGS OF $107,900. <br /> THIS AMOUNT COULD BE PUT INTO A CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND.
