EXECUTIVE SESSION SPECIAL SESSION APPROPRIATION: $15,000 SUMMER NUTRITION PROGRAM (2nd reading) MINUTES railroad has been notified to take care of this matter. On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Mr. Conover, Council agreed to meet in executive session to discuss matters exempted by Section 2.1-344(a) (1) Personnel of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. Buck (signed Clerk Mayor COUNCIL CHAMBER - Tuesday, July 13, 1982 Pursuant to the foregoing notice Council met in special session on this date with the following members present: Mr. Buck, Mr. Conover, Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Gunter, Dr. Hall. Absent: None. Council met with the Planning Commission for a joint public hearing on the following items: 1) Charlottesville Area Transportation Study (CATS); 2) A petition to rezone from R-2 to R-3 the property located at 211 5th Street, S.W. and 3) An application for a special permit to use the property at the northwest corner of Monticello Road and Druid Avenue for a "Manufacturing and processing establishment of a craft nature in a B-3 zone." Council reconvened in the Basement Conference Room for the purpose of considering an appropriation of $1S,000 for the Summer Nutrition Program and to consider a lease for the Bicentennial Center. The appropriation of $15,000 for the Summer Nutrition Program which was offered at the meeting of July 6th was adopted by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Buck, Mr. Conover, Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Gunter, Dr. Hall. Noes: None. On motion by Mr. Conover, seconded by Dr. Hall, Council unanimously agreed to authorize the City Manager to sign a lease between the Virginia State Board of Community Colleges (PVCC) and the City of Charlottesville for use by the Western Virginia Bicentennial Center. The meeting was adjourned. Absent: None. On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Dr. Hall, the minutes of June 30th and July 1st were unanimously approved as presented. On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Dr. Hall, the minutes~Of July 6th were approved as amended.
