<br />contingent upon the Board of Supervisors being in accord with the substance
<br />of the City's report. Dr. Hall seconded the motion and Council voted as

<br /> On motion by Dr. Hall, seconded by Dr. Gunter, the followlng appro-
<br />priation was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration:

<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia,
<br />that the sum of $93,392 is hereby appropriated to expenditure account
<br />11-1220 in the Grants Fund for the operation of a home for homeless
<br />alcoholics during the current fiscal year. This appropriation shall be
<br />contingent upon the following:
<br />
<br /> 1) The receipt by the Grants Fund of $80,880.00 in grant
<br /> funds from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice
<br /> Services;
<br />
<br />2)
<br />
<br />The receipt by the Grants Fund of $2,512.00 in private
<br />contributions or fees from residents of the home, or both;
<br />
<br />The transfer to the Grants Fund of $10,000.00 previously
<br />appropriated for this purpose by this Council to Community
<br />Development Block Grant expenditure account 24-42050; and
<br />
<br />4)
<br />
<br />The execution by the City Manager of an appropriate
<br />subgrant agreement for operation ef the home by the Region
<br />Ten Community Services Board.

<br />APPROPRIATION: The following appropriation was offered and adopted by the following

<br />Virginia that the sum of $1,000, received in the Community Attention
<br />Fund as a donation from a private citizen, is hereby appropriated to
<br />expenditure account 19-11030 for use in the operation of the Community
<br />Attention Homes and related programs; and
<br />
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is requested to express
<br />to the donor the Council's gratitude for a generous contribution to
<br />the welfare of the young people of the community.
