AN ORDIANCE REPEALING SECTION II IF THE MILK ORDIANCE ENTILTED 'FEE REQUIRED'. BE IT ORDANIED BY the council of the City of Charlottesville that section II OF the Mike Ordiance entilted "Fee Required" be repealed. Adopted by the Council Council January, 1923. Ayes: Brown & Joachim; Noes None. Clerk Signature. President Signature. DAILY RECORD TO BE KEPT BY DEALERS IN SECOND-HAND ARTICLES AND LIST RO BE FURNISHED DAILY TO THE CHIEF OF POLICE. BE it ordained by the Council of the City of Charlottesville; that; 1. All pawn brokers, junk dealers, dealers in second hand clothing in second hand automobiles shall keep daily records of every article taken in pawn or bought by said dealers; said records to contain a full descrip- tion of such articles, and to show all distinguishing marks, numbers, brands, letters or monograms of any kind on such articles, together ivi th the names and ance. addresses of the parties from whom such articles were received. 2. All pawn brokers, junk dealers, deakers in second hand clothing and dealers in second hand automobiles shall furnish daily to the chief of police upon blanks to be prescribed by the said chief, full and complete lists of all articles taken in pawn or bought by said dealers within the twenty-four hours next preceding the date of such report said lists to contain a full description of all such articles together with all marks, numbers, brands, letters or monograms on such articles, and the names and addresses of the parties from whom such articles were received. 3. Any such broker, junk dealer, dealer in second hand clothing or dealer in second 'nand automobiles who shall fail to comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than five dollars nor more than twenty five dollars, for each offence. A conviction of any such pawn broker, junk; dealer, defiler in second hand clothing or dealer in second hand automobiles of a violation of this ordinance may, in the discretion of the Civil and Police Justice, work an immediate revocation of the license of such offender. AN ORDIANCE AMENDING AND RE-ANCTING SECTION 103 OF THE CITY CODE OF 1909 ENTILTED "TREASURER'S COMPENSATION." The City Treasurer for his services in collecting and disbursing the City revenues and keeping the accounts and making the reports required bf him shall receive two percent (2%) on all money collected by him from City taxes and licenses and from the users of water gas and gas biproducts. He shall received commission on no other collection or any disbursements made for the City. This Ordinance shall in no way effect the compensation allowed the City Treasurer by the State.
