WILLIE SMITH OF <br />LOCUST GROVE, EXTENSION StIBD{VISION HAD iNSTItUTEO A PROCEEDING IN THE <br />CIRCUIT COURT OF ALBEMARLE COUNTY AGAINST VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY <br />MATTER RE: CITY ATTY. <br />GRANTED REQtiEi~T' - AND OTHERS TO 06TAIN A CLEAR TITLE TO A PARCEL OF LAND WHICH SHE HOPED TO <br />LANG LOCUST GROVE <br />EXTENSION SUBDIVISION CONVEY TO VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY, AND THAT SINCE THE CITY OWNED <br />REAL ESTATE IN THE AREA, IT HAD BEEN MADE A PARTY DEFENDANT. THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY STATED THAT HIS FIRM WAS REPRESENTING VIRGINIA ELECTRIC ANO POWER <br />COMPANY, AND ASKED FOR AUTHORIZ~iT10N FROM THE COUNCIL TO FILE AN ANSWER <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY WHICH WOULD TAKE A NEUTRAL POSITION IN THE MATTER. <br />ON MOTION BY MR.
