4 <br />1 <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF CITY WATER, AND IMPOSING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. <br />Whereas the City water supply has been di,ninishing very rapidly for some- <br />time past and has now reached such a low point that public health and safety deman that <br />it be most carefully conserved. <br />Now Therefore, Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia that it- be and is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to use any <br />City Water for wgshing automobiles or other vehicles; sprinkling lawns, Streets or <br />sidewalks, or to use City 'Vater through hose connections except for building or <br />or construction purposes.
