O'Brien (signed) President Ordinance re: Central Absentee Voter Mlection District Further dis cussion on Paving CHS Parking Lot Public Hearing The Council met in special session on this date with the following members present: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Absent: None. An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED JANUARY 20, 1976, WHICH ESTABLISHED A CENTRAL ABSENTEE VOTER ELECTION DISTRICT PRUSUANT TO SECTION 24.1-233.1 OF THE CODE OF VIRGINIA, IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE LOCATION FOR TABULATING ABSENTEE VOTES," which was offered at the meeting of the Council on October 4, 1976, was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. 0 ' Bri en. No es: None. The appropriation for paving the parking lot at Charlottesville High School was again discussed. A motion by Mr. Fife, seconded by Mr. Barbour that the second reading on this appropriation be postponed for one week, but the City Manager be instructed to proceed with taking bids for paving the parking lot, was unanimously adopted. A discussion was then held on the Co~m~unity Development Revenue Sharing Plan and the Housing Rehabilitation Plan with the residents of the Belmont Area.
