STEVENSON <br />WILDER DRIVE SUBDIVISION <br />THE CITY MANAGER ADVISED THE COUNCIL THAT A SMALL PORTION OF EACH OF <br />THE PROPERTIES COVERED BY THE FOREGOING COMMUNICATIONS WAS IN THE CITY AND <br />THE MAJOR PORTION WAS IN THE COUNTY. HE STATED THAT SINCE PART OF THE <br />PROPERTY WAS IN THE CITY HE FELT AND SO RECOMMENDED THAT THE UTILITY LINES <br />CITY MANAGER RECOMMENDED <br />REQUESTS FOR WATER, GAS SHOULD BE GRANTED THESE APPLICANTS UNDER THE USUAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />AND SEWER CONNECTIONS OFF <br />EMMETT ST. ~ PARK STREET AND SUBJECT TO THE LINES BEING INSTALLED AND S12ED TO MEET THE APPROVAL OF <br />BE GRANTED. <br />RECOMMENDATION APPROVED. THE CITY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT. HE FURTHER STATED THAT IN HIS OPINION <br />PERMISSION SHOUlO ONLY BE GRANTED AT THIS TIME FOR UTILITY LINES TO SERVE <br />THE FIFTY UNITS LOCATED ON EMMETT STREET. HE FURTHER STATED THAT THIS <br />RECOMMENDATION SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN AS A PRECEDENT FOR FUTURE OUTStDE UTILITY <br />EXTENSIONS UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE MATTER OF ANNEXATION IS DETERMINED. <br />ON MOTION BY MR. SCRIBNER, SECONDED BY MR. COLEMAN, WAS <br />UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED. <br />AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR IMPOSING AND COLLECTING LICENSES <br />ORDINANCE ADOPTED: AND TAXES FOR THE EXERCISE OF CERTAIN PRIVILEGES WITHIN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTES- <br />LICENSE TAX ORDINANCE <br />VILLE FOR TWELVE MONTHS, COMMENCING THE FIRST DAY OF MAY, 1960 AND ENDING THE <br />THIRTIETH DAY OF APRIL, 1961', WHICH WAS OFFERED AT THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />ON MARCH 7, 1960, WAS ADOPTED AS AMENDED BY THE FOLLOWING RECORDED VOTE: <br />AYES: MR.
