Mr. Dunbar stated that if the building is not ready
for occupation in September the move may need to be delayed
for an entire school year because a move over the Christmas
holiday may be too difficult.

Responding to a question from Ms. Waters about future
uses of Jefferson School, Mr. John Pezzoli, School Board
Chairman, stated that the long-range use of Jefferson will be
addressed as part of a long-range space needs study to begin
in the near future. Mr. Pezzoli stated that one option for
Jefferson would be to consolidate all central school office
functions into one location which would free up the present
central office space for future Walker School expansion.

Mr. BUck~uestioned whether the space needs study would
include consideration of other non-school community needs for
school buildings such as the Municipal Band.
