<br /> Mr. Buck moved to amend'the ordinance to delete the statement

<br />adding that it would give Council additional flexibility in appointing
<br />qualified members. Mrs. Gleason seconded the motion to amend, and
<br />Council unanimously voted to amend the ordinance.

<br /> Mrs. Gleason moved, Dr. Gunter seconded, and the following appro-

<br />priation was carried over to the next meeting:

<br /> Be .it resolved by the Council of the City of Charlottesville,
<br />Virginia, that the sum of $30,000.00, or as much thereof as may be
<br />necessary, is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated balance of
<br />the Capital Projects Fund to expenditure account 05-01500 for the
<br />removal of asbestos from the cafeterias at Walker and Buford Middl~
<br />Schools.
