Ayes: Mr. Barnes, Mr. Buck, Mrs. Gle.ason, Dr. Gunter, Dr. Hail. Noes: <br />LIBRARY <br />(2nd reading) None. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia <br />that the sum of $1,785.00 is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated <br />balance of the General Fund to expenditure account 01-53120 as the City's <br />contribution to the cost of a pay and classification study for the Jefferson- <br />Madison Regional Library; and be it further <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, that the sum of $4,500.00 is appropriated from the Regional. <br />Library Fund to expenditure account 17-21030 for such study, to be offset <br />by revenues to the Regional Library Fund from the aforesaid General Fund <br />contribution and from pro rata contributions from the other participating <br />jurisdictions. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: Mr. Hendrix stated that the $100;000 appropriation for Charter House included <br />$1oo,ooo - <br />CHARTER HOUSE $15,000 in City funds which had previously been approved in the annual budget and <br /> <br />$85,000 in state funds. <br /> <br /> On motion by Dr. Hall, Seconded by Mrs. Gteason, the appropriation was offered <br />and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: <br />$20,000 - <br />SUMMER <br />NUTRITION <br />PROGRAM <br /> <br /> Mr. Hendrix stated that the appropriation of $20,000 for the Summer Nutrition <br />Program would provide a midday meal for certain participants in the Program. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. GleasOn, seconded by Dr. Hall, the appropriation was offered <br />and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. <br /> <br /> <br />
