The City Manager is authorized to enter into agreements with those agencies and organizations as he may deem advisable to ensure that the subgrants are expended for the intended purposes, and in accordance .with. applicable Federal and State laws and regulations; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following sums are hereby appropriated from funds received from the aforesaid grant as a subgrant to the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority: Account Code Purpose Amount 24-72200 24-72210 City-Wide Homeowner Rehabilitation by the Charlottesville Housing Improvement Program (CHIP) Fifeville Homeowner Rehabilitation by CHIP 24-72220 24-7226O 24-72270 24-15050 City-Wide House Bank Program City-Wide Loan PrOgram Fifeville Loan Program Housing Administration 24-15060 Relocation Assistance $125,.000 50,000 30,000 60,500 25,000 10,000 10,000 The City Manager, the Directors of Finance and of Planning and Community Development, and the staff of the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA) are authorized and directed to establish appropriate expenditure sub-accounts in the Community Development Block Grant Fund to assist the City and CRHA in accounting for such programs, and to establish administrative procedures and provide for mutual assistance in the execution'of the programs as approved by the Board of CRHA. APPROPRIATION: The appropriation of $1,785 for the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library $1,785 JEFFERSON- wh'ich was offered, at the meeting of July 2nd was approved bv the following MADISON REGIONAL vote. Ayes: Mr. Barnes, Mr. Buck, Mrs. Gle.ason, Dr. Gunter, Dr. Hail. Noes: LIBRARY (2nd reading) None. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $1,785.00 is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to expenditure account 01-53120 as the City's contribution to the cost of a pay and classification study for the Jefferson- Madison Regional Library; and be it further RESOLVED, that the sum of $4,500.00 is appropriated from the Regional. Library Fund to expenditure account 17-21030 for such study, to be offset by revenues to the Regional Library Fund from the aforesaid General Fund contribution and from pro rata contributions from the other participating jurisdictions. APPROPRIATION: Mr. Hendrix stated that the $100;000 appropriation for Charter House included $1oo,ooo - CHARTER HOUSE $15,000 in City funds which had previously been approved in the annual budget and $85,000 in state funds. On motion by Dr. Hall, Seconded by Mrs. Gteason, the appropriation was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. APPROPRIATION: $20,000 - SUMMER NUTRITION PROGRAM Mr. Hendrix stated that the appropriation of $20,000 for the Summer Nutrition Program would provide a midday meal for certain participants in the Program. On motion by Mrs. GleasOn, seconded by Dr. Hall, the appropriation was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration.
