COUNCIL CHAMBER January 22, 1985 Council met in regular session on this date with the following members present: Mr. Barnes, Mr. Buck, Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Gunter., Dr. Hall. MINUTES On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Dr. Gunter, the minutes of January 7 were unanimously approved as presented. On motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Dr. Gunter, the minutes of January 9 were approved as presented, with Dr. Hall abstaining. On motion by Dr. Gunter, seconded by Mrs. Gleason, the minutes of January 14 were unanimously approved as presented. PUBLIC There were no matters by the public. PUBLIC HEARING: Mr. Wiley, City Attorney, stated that the Planning Commission had AMENDING ORDINANCE RELATING 'TO previously held a public hearing on this. ordinance. Mr. Wiley recommended ZONING ADMIN- ISTRATION that the ordinance be amended to read that the Director of Planning would designate the zoning administrator instead of serving in that capacity. As there were no speakers, the public hearing was closed. On motion by Dr. Gunter, seconded by Dr. Hall, the ordinance relating to zoning administration was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. STAFF REPORT: Mr. Hendrix explained that a consent agenda could be used to adopt CONSENT AGENDA routine, non-controversial items which could leave more time for discussion of other matters.
