RESOLUTION: RACE RELATIONS TASK FORCE Task Force was unanimously approved. Mr. Buck stated that the membership of the Race Relations Task Force should be discussed. Mr. S~eve Campbell, Social Development Commission member, stated that the RaCe~Relations Task Force has two major issues to study: employment and education. Mr. Campbell stated that the Social Development Commission and the School Board were in agreement on the Task Force's purpose and membership. Mr. Barnes recommended that Council appoint the Task Force members in view of the sensitive nature of the issue and suggested that the Social Development Commission and School Board compile a list of Potential members for Council. Mr. Barnes moved, Dr. Gunter seconded the motion, and a resolution supporting the joint efforts of the Social Development Commission and the School Board and approving the purpose, membership and staffing of the Race Relations Task Force was unanimously approved by CoUncil. eeting was adjourned.
